Resolutions have been made, goals are set, and off we go!
Fast-forward to January 31st., our enthusiasm is fading quickly. We are now setting ourselves up to fail. But, it doesn't have to be like this and it's not too late. Commit to realistic goals, smaller goals to reach your target goal. If you want to lose 50 pounds, start with 10 pounds at a time and you'll reach your goal faster. As you see the pounds slowly coming off it will motivate you to keep going.
If you need to exercise more for health reasons or you just want to live a healthier lifestyle, the logical answer is to join a gym. For a whole week (maybe two) you show up everyday pumped and ready to work hard. Then it becomes three times a week, then once a week, and finally you stop showing up all together. Joining a gym is expensive and it requires an unwavering level of commitment.
But, there are other opportunities to succeed at your exercise goal. Start slowly, sign up for a class once a week, take a 30 minute walk once a day or dance like nobody is watching to your favorite music 30 minutes a day. These are all good ways to burn calories and you can reach your exercise goal without having the expense of a gym membership.
Tea can also help you reach these goals because tea can boost your metabolism to help burn fat and lose weight. Tea is packed with antioxidants your body needs to stay healthy and it can also enhance your mood. Being in the right mindset can help motivate you to follow through on your resolutions.
