Masala Chai Pumpkin Tea


1 1/2 cups filtered water

1/2 cup hot milk

5 tsp. masala chai loose-leaf tea

1/4 cup pumpkin puree    

2 tsp. Honey

Whipped cream for garnish

Cinnamon powder for garnish


Bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil.

Use an open infuser basket and add 5 tsp. masala chai loose-leaf tea. Pour boiling water over tea and steep 5 minutes. 

Combine 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, and 2 tsp., honey and bring to a slow boil. 

Add pumpkin milk mixture to tea and blend well. Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon powder. Makes approximately 2 cups. A delicious autumn treat.
