Bai Hao Oolong Tea#1670
A special hand-picked oolong with many white tips. Bai Hao means white tip which refers to the small tender white buds that are plucked along with the top two leaves from the tea bush. Steeps a light cup with a pleasantly mild flavor and no astringency.
Once harvested, the leaves of Bai Hao are processed around 50-60% more than other Taiwanese oolong teas. This process results in a very smooth and sweet flavored tea, with virtually no astringency, and with a unique aroma of ripe peaches and honey.
Use 1 heaped teaspoon per 8 oz. cup. Bring water to a boil and let it cool slightly before pouring over tea leaves. Steep 2 minutes. Tea can be re-infused by adding 15 seconds to each additional steep.
Water temperature: 185-190 ºF
