Decaf English Breakfast Tea#2080
A rich decaffeinated English breakfast blend. Steeps a good pick-me-up cup with less caffeine. Not as strong as decaf Irish Breakfast.
Decaffeinated with a water decaffeination process referred to as the "Swiss Water Method." This method removes the caffeine by soaking the tea in hot water for a period of time. The resulting brew is then passed through a carbon filter for caffeine removal. The liquid is then reintroduced to the tea for reabsorption of flavors and oils.
Use 1 heaped Tsp. per 8 oz. cup. Bring water to a boil and pour over tea leaves. Steep 4 minutes. Note: decaffeinated tea is NOT 100% caffeine-free. The decaffeination process removes MOST of the caffeine with a minimal amount of caffeine left in the leaf.
