Gyokuro green tea is a vibrant green tea grown in the shade. The tea originates from the Uji district in Japan. Steeps a very pale green cup of tea with sweet lingering notes.
Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. cup. Bring water to a boil and let it cool slightly before pouring over tea leaves. Steep 1.5 minutes. It can be re-steeped by adding 30 seconds to each steep.
