2019 First Flush is here! Beautiful vibrant green leaves with all the characteristics of a darjeeling first flush black tea. First Flush is harvested in mid-March after the spring rains and produces a sharp, clear taste. Slightly astringent with a slight floral note.
Farmed on the Makaibari estate established in 1859 and home of the worlds best Darjeeling's.
Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. cup. Bring water to a boil and pour over tea leaves. Steep 3 minutes.
Water temperature: 205-210 ºF
