The 2019 2nd harvest from the new growth of the tea plant a few months after the first harvest of the year. Steeps a darker coopery liquor with a stronger body than the first flush and far less "green" character. It has an exquisite aroma with muscatel grape notes and an adequate astringency.
Farmed on the Makaibari estate established in 1859 and home of the worlds best Darjeeling's.
Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. cup of water. Steep at 208º F for 3 minutes.
