The 2019 Harvest has vibrant green leaves with all the characteristics of a darjeeling first flush black tea. First flush is harvested in mid-March after the spring rains. Steeps a sharp, clear taste, and slightly astringent with a slight floral note.
Farmed on the Makaibari estate established in 1859 and home of the worlds best Darjeeling's.
Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. cup. Steep at 208º F for 3 minutes.
