Yerba Maté Herbal Tea

Yerba Maté (yer-bah mah-tay) is made from the naturally caffeinated and nourishing leaves of the celebrated South American rainforest holly tree. Steeps an invigorating cup.

This herbal tea contains caffeine. Only about a third of the amount found in coffee. That's about 30mg versus 100mg of caffeine. The caffeine found in Yerba Maté gives it the strength of coffee along with all the health benefits of tea. Yerba Maté is high in Vitamin C and it is a potent antioxidant.

Steeping 

Use 1 tablespoon per 8 oz. cup. Steep at 212º F for 4 minutes.
