Steeping 

Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. cup. Place the tea in your infuser and begin by rinsing it with a quick application of hot water. To do this, just add enough hot water to cover the tea leaves and steep at 210°F (boiling) for 60 seconds. Then discard the liquid. Bring the water temperature back to 210ºF (boiling) and steep for 4 minutes. Tea can be re-infused 2-3 times by adding an additional 1 minute to each steep.

Caffeine content: Moderate-High. Approximately 40-70 mg per 8 oz. cup.

On average, an 8-ounce cup of black tea contains approximately 14-80 mg of caffeine. However, some types of black tea may have higher caffeine levels, up to 90 mg per 8-ounce cup.  When you steep tea for a longer period, more caffeine is typically extracted from the tea leaves, resulting in a higher caffeine content in the brewed tea. This is because caffeine is water-soluble and leaches out of the leaves over time. So, longer steeping times usually mean stronger and more caffeinated tea.
