Big Red Robe Oolong Tea#1720
Grown on the peak of Wuyi Mountain in northern Fujian province near the border with Jiangxi province, China. Big Red Robe Oolong or Da Hong Pao Oolong has large leaves that are 40% oxidized producing a clean, smooth, honey texture with a rich aroma of roasted peanut shells. Steeps a wonderful cup with notes of nectarine and molasses with a rounded earthy yet sweet aroma.
Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. cup. Bring water to a boil and let it cool slightly before pouring over tea leaves. Steep 3 minutes. Tea can be re-infused by adding 1 minute to each additional steep.
