Steeping 

Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. cup of water. Steep at 208ºF (boiling) for 3 to 4 minutes.

Organic Black tea

Caffeine content: Moderate. Approximately 40-50 mg per 8 oz. cup.  

On average, an 8-ounce cup of black tea contains approximately 14-80 mg of caffeine. However, some types of black tea may have higher caffeine levels, up to 90 mg per 8-ounce cup.  When you steep tea for a longer period, more caffeine is typically extracted from the tea leaves, resulting in a higher caffeine content in the brewed tea. This is because caffeine is water-soluble and leaches out of the leaves over time. So, longer steeping times usually mean stronger and more caffeinated tea.
