**Note: Decaffeinated tea is NOT 100% caffeine-free. The water decaffeination process used in our decaffeinated teas removes MOST of the caffeine. A minimal amount of caffeine is left in the leaf. An 8 oz cup of decaf loose leaf tea typically contains about 2 to 5 milligrams of caffeine. Decaffeination processes remove most of the caffeine from the tea leaves, but a small amount remains. For comparison, a regular cup of black tea has about 40 to 70 milligrams of caffeine, and a cup of coffee contains around 95 milligrams.
