Pu-erh tea is an acquired taste. The flavor and reputed health benefits of pu-erh tea is well-known around the world. Pu-erh is also a great digestif after a heavy meal.
Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. cup. Place the tea in your infuser and begin by rinsing it with a quick application of hot water. To do this, just add enough hot water to cover the tea leaves and steep it for 60 seconds. Then discard the liquid. Bring water temperature to 210º F and steep for 4 minutes. Tea can be re-infused 2-3 times by adding an additional 1 minute to each steep.
