Loose leaf tea has several benefits over tea that comes in tea bags. Loose leaf tea is often of higher quality than tea bags, as it is made from whole tea leaves rather than the broken leaves and dust used in tea bags. Because loose leaf tea is made from whole tea leaves, it generally has more flavor than tea bags. The leaves are able to expand and release their full flavor, while tea bags may restrict the leaves from fully opening up.
