Pu-erh tea is an acquired taste. The flavor and reputed health benefits of pu-erh tea is well-known around the world. Pu-erh is also a great digestif after a heavy meal.
To steep place the tea in your infuser and begin by rinsing it with a quick application of hot water. To do this, add enough hot water to cover the tea leaves and steep for 60 seconds. Then discard the liquid. Bring water to a boil again and pour over the tea leaves. Steep 3-4 minutes. Tea can be re-infused 2-3 times by adding an additional 1 minute to each steep.
Water temperature: 200-210 ºF
